Nothing is better than the feeling of walking outside in the warmth of the sun surrounded by flowers, shrubs and trees bursting with the first signs of spring.
It seems that every city in the country (world?) has some type of municipal garden or arboretum. Today we spent a wonderful afternoon wandering through the Fort Worth Botanical Garden.
The Icelandic Iris were spectacular.
The Japanese Garden was the largest I’d ever visited and a true delight:
This is a Japanese maple — on of many.
Water and plants can be so serene.
The colors and the scents make one contemplate peace and harmony.
Until the feeding frenzy started! Koi (carp) were looking for handouts:
Feed me! Feed me! Never seen such large koi.
Nice day, can’t wait until tomorrow.
